Bettys Creek Farm, Otto, North Carolina, Macon County, 4909 Mulberry Rd,

Betty's Creek Farm

Mulberry Road, Otto NC

14 plus acres of Wood and Pasture land. 12000 square foot storage building, older barn, 1950's Farm House redone in the 90's. Mountain Views a stream running thru property. Many opportunity's with this rare piece of property.

Located just past the Georgia line. For more information on the History of this piece of History feel free to email or call us. This property is real close to Bakers Mill and Hambridge Center on the Georgia side of Bettys Creek road.

This is at one time was my wives home place if you really want tons of history she can share it as long as the other brothers and sisters and grandchildren. My daughter, Amber remembers them milking the cows in the barn and playing in the hey loft and running from the chickens well mainly just the rooster that would pluck you. If you buy or rent the Hallmark Video FOXFIRE the movie on the Beginning you can view Mr. Long plowing across the road from this property it is a very neat piece of history. There are plenty of pictures of this home site that Mr. and Mrs. Long were offered for interviews from multiple Foxfire books as well. Their front porch of this home and kitchen was also on the morning news show form New York I think it was Good monring America but i would need to check with the family on that one. That was when the movie Foxfire was published. They came down from New York and interviewed them since they were living Appalachian Mountain people and working on their mountain land. They still farmed and lived off their garden and cows. It may be a clipping of the older kitchen or older barn but it still shows this places love and stories from the past!

Make this your new story book for your family today!

Farm in Rabun County, 9881 Warwoman Road Clayton, Georgia 30525 Seven Winds Farm

Seven Winds Farm
Rabun County
2,750,000

93 Acres Mostly Surounded by USA Land (Warwoman Wildlife Management) pastures and ponds. This is just a sneak picture of the creek that runs thru the property. This creek is located where a barn is now and where the pasture begins. I have personally seen children play in this area! Fun! Follow a trail or this creek side and you will find a secret swimming-whole. A small cookout area is located by this as well. You may feel like the current owner that has already torn down 1 house on the property that everything else should be torn down as well. These homes are in great shape and up to date but they are average homes. The owner states that the homes and all are just thrown in for free on the price!

For more information go to http://www.jimblalock.com/ and just view Jim's Listings and see what you think. We are getting a virtual tour and new photos to show off of the pastures and pond sties. ASAP. I will be updating at that time thank you so much.

snow in the mountains

Snow in Clayton on Sunday. Lake Burton still had some snow this morning where a lot of the county had already started to melt unless it is real shady.

The South end Wiley, Lakemont so far was barely dusted on Sunday morning.

Frankilin or Macon COunty has already 1-2inches tongiht so maybe Clayton will get some more snow.

It was fun Sunday driving around looking at land. A listing we have in Mountain City since all the leaves are off you could view where the snow was sitting on the road. My picture did not come out right or I would share it with you. Pretty neat to view the mountains in the snow. It does a natural outline.

Come enjoy our area....Maybe you can go snow tubing in Scaly Mountain which is on the GA, NC line.

real estate...

Real Estate...What does that word mean...to you? Power, Investment, Debt, Dream, Home, these are just a few that I thought of. I am blogging for Jim Today...This is Amber Blalock Brady... Jim's Assistant and Daughter...I was just thinking about how important Real Estate is to every human being.

Real Estate could be leased, owned, public, private however there is not one peice that is the same. That is really neat if you go in-depth and think about real estate.
