Old Beasly Report in 1999

Well I have been cleaning up slowly at my office getting ready for the move in a couple of weeks. Century 21 and Coldwell Banker are combined all together as RE/MAX of Rabun. Our new office is almost ready for all of us to be moved together. I just found an old Beasley Report dated back to April 1999.(The BEAS-LEE Corp.)

What interested me most in the report was that in 1999 over 10 years ago our county had 81 transactions. I think this last month it was under 25 sales (cant remember the exact numbers). The amount of volume was higher with just 25 sales.

The economy is getting stronger daily and people are buying and selling. I feel we will be back to higher sales soon in our area. Please come on and BUY, so we will get there quicker.

Short sales are very common in the market currently. I have a home that is a short sale in Clayton, Georgia.

Fire Works on Lake Burton

The Fireworks on Lake Burton are always beautiful but it seemed this years were the best. It lasted for almost 30 minutes and the boats in front and behind me gave me a feeling of this country is amazing and how much Rabun County has been blessed. This is amazing this many boats and all of these little green and red lights sounding with people hooting and clapping and some singing and horns honking of course not a lot just enough to say that they were proud to be there. The boat houses and boats that were lit up those are always fun to see how creative people are or the hats and lights they wear on their head. The lights on the head are definitely another safety issue. My Best part being with my family and my Least favorite the rocky boat ride home in the dark.

Well it has been a while since I have wrote on my BLOG. I apologize if you a viewer of mine and I hope you have missed my mis-spelled words, grammar and MOST IMPORTANT my local information on Real Estate or Lake information.

Beasley Report for February in Rabun County, Georiga

Beasley Report from February there was a total of 15 transactions in Rabun County less than the one I was last speaking of. 2 Lake properties sold and a few homes and land were the other 13.

snow in the mountains

Snow in Clayton on Sunday. Lake Burton still had some snow this morning where a lot of the county had already started to melt unless it is real shady.

The South end Wiley, Lakemont so far was barely dusted on Sunday morning.

Frankilin or Macon COunty has already 1-2inches tongiht so maybe Clayton will get some more snow.

It was fun Sunday driving around looking at land. A listing we have in Mountain City since all the leaves are off you could view where the snow was sitting on the road. My picture did not come out right or I would share it with you. Pretty neat to view the mountains in the snow. It does a natural outline.

Come enjoy our area....Maybe you can go snow tubing in Scaly Mountain which is on the GA, NC line.
